iStudi Pass

Career orientation programme for internationale degree-seeking students

Would you like to gain work experience during your studies and prepare yourself optimally for a career in Germany? Then be sure to use the career orientation programme of the iStudi Pass and the various services offered by the iStudi Coach.
In this pass, you will log your participation in six training measures from at least five of the following modules:

  • A. Job seeking and applications
  • B. Company networking
  • C. Intercultural skills
  • D. German language skills
  • E. Degree success
  • F. Volunteering

It is mandatory to participate in training measures for modules A to D. For your fifth training measure, you can choose between modules E and F. Finally, for the sixth one, you can choose between all six modules.

Upon completion of the programme within two semesters you will receive a certificate of attendance, which you may, for instance, enclose with your application documents. The iStudi Pass Programme is open to international students of all faculties and participation is entirely voluntary.

You can collect your own personal iStudi Pass from Luise Haack's, iStudi Coach, office in VW 106.

A. Job seeking and applications

Make use of the current semester programme of the University's Centre for Careers and Competencies to learn the correct way to apply for jobs in Germany and improve your soft skills.

F. Volunteering/Social networks

How can I get in touch with my fellow students? What can I do to meet people from Passau? A good social network can help you with a variety of issues, as for example day-to-day problems. They also can be very helpful when it comes to looking for a job or an internship. A good way to build such a social network and gain useful skills at the same time is volunteering.
