Programme for the advancement of internationalisation
Under the Advancement of Internationalisation funding programme (website currently only available in German), the University to provides travel grants for research stays and helps international students in acute financial difficulties.
Oskar-Karl-Forster scholarships for learning materials and thesis printing costs
The University of Passau offers Oskar-Karl-Forster scholarships to talented students and doctoral candidates in financial hardship. This scholarship provides a lump-sum contribution of up to 500 euros to students for purchasing learning materials or to doctoral candidates to cover some of their thesis printing costs.
The AlumniClub (website in German) wishes to support exceptional students of various academic disciplines at the University of Passau with a range of scholarships. Apart from providing financial aid, these are intended to establish valuable links with companies.

This funding line (Bayerische Gleichstellungsförderung – this page is currently only available in German) provides scholarships and awards for the promotion of gender equality in research and teaching. This includes doctoral completion scholarships and awards for best dissertation/thesis for parenting students as well as project funding for female postdoctoral researchers.
The Graduate Centre provides comprehensive information on all organisational and interdisciplinary issued concerning doctoral research and study. The Graduate Centre sees itself as a platform for academic exchanges and the pan-faculty integration of doctoral researchers.
