According to the 15th BayInfSMV, the 2G rule (you must be vaccinated or recovered) now applies when you are on the library premises.
This rule applies not only to the reading rooms but also to the other areas of the library, including the foyer and checkout areas.
If you are prevented from coming to the University Library due to the current regulations, we recommend asking someone else to fetch your reserved books/media (remember to give them your library card and a letter authorising them to pick up the books/media on your behalf) or return them for you. Returns are also possible by post.
For university staff, the 3G rule (vaccinated/recovered/negative test result) still applies. Student employees who visit the university library on official business must identify themselves accordingly (i.e. show a copy of their employment contract or a borrowing authorisation).
The University Library is still offering the scan service. You can order essays/journal articles or shorter book excerpts from the University Library's holdings and have them sent to you by e-mail as a PDF file.
