On February 20-21, 2025, our PhD student Franziska Jäckel presented her initial research findings from her field study in Ghana at the AURÖ Workshop for Young Researchers in Environmental and Resource Economics. Her presentation focused on the outcomes of her field experiment (Trust Game and Stag Hunt Game) with farmers from the tropical fruit sector and the index on network structures within farmer groups measuring social ties and leadership, offering valuable insights into agricultural decision-making and collaboration dynamics.
The AURÖ Workshop, organized jointly by the University of Mannheim and ZEW Mannheim on behalf of the Standing Field Committee on Environmental and Resource Economics of the German Economic Association (AURÖ), serves as a key platform for young researchers in environmental and resource economics. The event brings together PhD students and postdocs from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to present their work, engage in professional discussions, and expand their academic networks.
