 r Luciara Nardon (Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada) will hold a worksho
 p for doctoral students and other interested parties on 15.07.2025 on the 
 topic “Extending the Researcher's Mindset”.\n\nCurrent theorizing of i
 nterview research rejects the notion that interviews are neutral interacti
 ons in which knowledge is transferred from participants to researchers (Br
 inkmann, 2007; Golombisky, 2006; Gubrium et al., 2012; Holstein & Gubrium,
  1995). Through the interview process, the researcher may support and infl
 uence the participants' sensemaking process (Cunliffe, 2002), which create
 s reflection opportunities in which new understandings are made possible (
 Way et al., 2015; Nardon et al., 2021).\n\nIn her workshop, professor Luci
 ara Nardon will provide participants with a reflective experience of vario
 us research and interviewing tools in the context of their own research. W
 e will apply clean language and emergent knowledge tools in support of dev
 eloping a research idea. Participants are encouraged to come to the worksh
 op with an idea they are currently working on in their research projects.
