The Passau Centre for Digitalisation in Society
Be it Instagram, Industry 4.0 or Artificial Intelligence: Digitalisation is fundamentally changing our society and our economic system on all levels. Research and teaching must accompany and help shape this process from the very beginning. To meet this goal, the University of Passau has established the Passau Centre for Digitalisation in Society (CeDiS).
As the central institution, CeDiS coordinates a number of interdisciplinary and cross-faculty degree programmes dealing with the diverse challenges of digitalisation and are summarised under the name Digitalisation Studies. These currently include the Bachelor of Science in Digital Transformation in Business and Society and the Bachelor of Laws in Legal Tech.
Moreover, acting as an interface between administration, research and teaching, CeDiS is pursuing the aim of connecting other areas of research and teaching in a digitalisation context.
