Residence permits: Document pre-checks now on Mondays

The International Support Services Section offers a document pre-checking and forwarding service for your residence permit applications (for both first-time applications and extensions). Students from non-European-Union countries must have a valid residence permit to legally reside in Germany.

You can book an individual consultation for this – on Tuesdays during the months of June and July – from Luise Haack's Stud.IP profile. You will also find further information there, such as which documents are required, as well as the relevant forms. Don’t leave it too late! We strongly recommend that you start the application process 8 to 12 weeks before the expiry date of your current visa or residence permit.
