The construction work will affect services as follows:
- Central Library: expect some disruptions between25 July – 30 July. Staff will intermittently be unable to answer phones or emails while work takes place in their offices.
- Student Registration Office: the service will be closed on 31 July for the whole day. Staff will not be reachable by telephone or email on the day.
- Welcome Centre: the service will be affected by the construction works on 31 July. On the day of the construction works, there will be telephone and internet connection outages affecting the Welcome Centre.
- International Office: construction works are scheduled for 5 August. On the day of the construction works, there will be telephone and internet connection outages affecting the International Office.
- Centre for Careers and Competencies: construction works are scheduled for 5 August. On the day of the construction works, there will be telephone and internet connection outages affecting the Centre for Careers and Competencies.
- Examinations Office: the service will be closed and not reachable by phone on 6 August. However, the offices of Ms Süß and Ms Poxrucker will be open for submissions of missing entry requirements for teacher education programmes.
The Centre for Information Technology and Media Services is pleased to report that work on upgrading the internet connection infrastructure on campus is progressing well. The construction works are required to upgrade the cabling on campus. The current phases of works are scheduled to continue until 9 August.
