What the University does

On Campus lawn management

You may have noticed that many of our green spaces are in full bloom and many of them have not yet been mowed this year. To give flowers, grasses and insects more space, several green spaces on campus will be mowed less often this year than in previous years. Popular seating and recreation areas, such as the Nikolawiese, will remain as they are and will be mowed regularly.
We will report regularly on this project, which is a collaboration between the Climate Protection Unit, the Facility Management Department and the Chair of Art Education.
