The orientation weeks for international students take place at the University of Passau before the beginning of each semester. The orientation weeks will help you to prepare for your studies but also – and perhaps even more importantly! – provide great opportunities to get to know Passau and your fellow students. Events happen partly online, partly on campus to get everyone on board, whether you are already in Germany or still waiting for your trip.
The orientation weeks for the summer semester 2025 will take place from 07 April to 20 April 2025. Please register here. Also register yourself independently for the Stud.IP course 992025 (if possible).
To help you prepare for your arrival, you will find documents under Downloads on key topics such as accommodation, administrative matters, integration, career, and study organization in English.

The student helpers from the International Office and International Support Services will be happy to help you fill out the forms you need for the Citizens' Office or to apply for a residence permit and answer your questions about studying and organising your timetable.
