Academic calendar

The academic year begins with the winter semester, which starts on 1 October and ends on 31 March. The summer semester then runs from 1 April to 30 September each year.

Summer semester 2019

15 JulyApplication deadline for all undergraduate programmes and the following master's programmes: LL.M. German Law for foreign graduates, LL.M. German and Russian Law, and M.A. Russian and East-Central European Studies.
15 JulyDeadline for applications for all undergraduate programmes and the following postgraduate programmes: M.A. Caritas Science and Values-based Management, M.A. Russian and East Central European Studies.
27 JulyTeaching ends/examination period starts, followed by the semester break.
August and September

Enrolment period for new students with German or Austrian university entrance qualifications, as follows:

1 Aug – 13 Sep: B.Sc. Business Administration and Economics
16 Aug – 13 Sep: Law undergraduate programme
2–13 Sep: All other non-restricted degree programmes

Applicants with international qualifications and those applying for admission-restricted degree programmes should present themselves for matriculation on the date indicated in their offer letter.
