As we have learned from a last-minute announcement by the trade union ver.di, the University of Passau is expecting a warning strike on 5 December in relation to the ongoing collective bargaining negotiations.
Professor Dr Dr h.c. Martin Fincke passed away on 18 November 2025 at the age of 88. He was the son of a pastor, had three children from his first marriage, was widowed and later remarried.
