Disruption to rail services from 14 June

From 14 June to 12 December 2026, the Obertraubling – Passau railway section will be closed for a corridor refurbishment. This affects all regional and long-distance services, including services to Munich and Regensburg.

During this period, a comprehensive rail replacement bus service [the page linked to is in English] will be provided between Passau and Plattling/Deggendorf/Landau/Landshut – depending on the respective construction phase. Please note that the timetables will change on the transition days (14 June, 10 July and 20 September) between the three construction phases.
