Fire Extinguisher Maintenance starting 2 September

Regular maintenance of fire extinguishers is legally required in accordance with the Workplace Regulations ASR A2.2 ("Measures against Fires").

To comply with the maximum inspection and maintenance interval of two years, all fire extinguishers in the university's buildings will undergo scheduled inspections starting 2 September, with the work expected to continue until the end of September. As part of this process, the fire extinguishers will temporarily not be at their usual locations. The units will be removed, inspected, and promptly reinstalled, one after the other.

Important note on fire protection

Fire protection is fully guaranteed at all times in all buildings. While the units are being removed, the maintenance workshop will work in sections, ensuring that a sufficient number of fully operational fire extinguishers always remain available in the immediate vicinity.
