Free and anonymous HIV testing evening at the AIDS Advice Centre on 14 November

The AIDS Advice Centre of Lower Bavaria (AIDS-Beratungsstelle Niederbayern) is organising a cost-free and anonymous HIV testing evening on the premises of the AIDS Advice Centre on 4 November from 16:00 to 19:00.

Free HIV quick tests will be available during these afternoon hours. To ensure anonymity, you will be asked to provide a code word of your choice when making an appointment for the free testing evening. Appointments are scheduled at 20-minute intervals (16:00, 16:20, etc.).

The Advice Centre is also offering HIV testing until 29 November, charging EUR 5 per quick test. The test only requires a drop of blood taken from the fingertip, and you will be informed of the result during your appointment. It should be noted that a reliable result can only be provided 12 weeks after a risky exposure. In other words, a test should not be made until 12 weeks after a risky encounter.
