Semester opening and Open Jam organised by the Student Services Association at the Kulturcafete (Nikolakloster)

The stage is all set for the student cultural scene: On 8 November, the Department of Cultural Promotion (Kulturförderung) of the Student Services Association for Lower Bavaria/Upper Palatinate will provide up-and-coming artists at the University of Passau a stage at the semester opening in the Kulturcafete . The programme features: cozy jazz, poetry, singers/songwriters and originals. Admission is free.

Kulturcafete at the University of Passau

The Open Jam will be taking place on 10 November in practice room II (ZB 255, above the cafeteria in the refectory building). Starting at 18:00, the event is open to anyone who enjoys getting together to play soul, jazz and funk and/or are seeking new band members. Marco, our new host who studied instrumental pedagogy for jazz as well as improvised music, will be leading the sessions for you. Everyone interested is welcome to join. Drum set and piano available on site.
