Fair Play Guidelines
The Fair Play Guidelines of the University of Passau set out the principles for respectful interaction with one another and help the university to take consistent action against all forms of discrimination, sexual harassment, bullying and stalking.

Prevention programme: Self-defence classes for women
The Executive Support Unit for Diversity and Gender Equality regularly offers free half-day self-defence training to women. Some dates are also open to other members of the University of Passau. This training course teaches you quick and simple, and above all effective physical intervention techniques that are designed to give you more control over situations where you are threatened with physical and/or psychological violence, and thus give you greater self-confidence.
Registration takes place via Stud.IP.
During the winter semester 2025/26 the self-defence classes take place on the following dates:

The University of Passau is committed to the protection of human dignity in accordance with the Constitution of the Free State of Bavaria and the German Basic Law. It consistently takes action against all forms of bullying, discrimination, sexual harassment, stalking and any similar behaviour that violates dignity or personal rights. A secure environment with as few conflicts as possible is an indispensable prerequisite for the success of its members in research, teaching and academic support roles. The Fair Play Guidelines are intended to promote trusting relationships, collegial behaviour, smooth procedures, and a motivating and efficient working environment.
