With more than 2,000 organisations in Germany handing out scholarships to students – many irrespective of citizenship and others specifically intended for international students – there are more opportunities than you might think! So, if you are wondering what scholarships may be suitable for you, or believe that you have to be a top-performing student who spends all their leisure time volunteering to have a chance at winning a scholarship, you could do worse than attend the information event – who knows, you might find one that you had not heard about.
The scholarship information evening event on 15 May 2019 will take place in the Computer Science and Mathematics building (IM), Innstrasse 33.
This is the programme:
6 p.m. (lecture theatre 11): Presentation by ArbeiterKind.de
'Stipendien – auch für dich! Wie kommst du an ein Stipendium? Wir zeigen dir wie!'
This presentation will be held in German; however, if you do not speak German, you will still be able to talk to the scholarship holders at the information stands and the presenters of the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship in English.
6:30 p.m. (in the foyer): Information stands
Ask current and past scholarship holders about their experiences.
6:45 p.m. (lecture theatre 11): Short presentation of the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship. Despite its name, the scholarship is open to students of all nationalities!
