You can look forward to a rich programme around the circus tent from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., which is being put together by numerous student clubs and societies from the University. There will be interactive stands, a pub quiz, discussion rounds and speed dating, plenty of live music and a theatre performance in the evening. Food and drinks will be provided on site by the Eulenspiegel Festival.
Bands playing in the afternoon are Ocean Jam (3 p.m.), Space Monkeys (4:25 p.m.) and U3 (5:30 p.m.), among others. We wish to tank the cultural promotions office of the Student Services Association for supporting the band programme!
The student theatre group JUT will stage Friedrich Dürrenmatt’s tragicomedy “The Visit” (original German title: “Der Besuch der alten Dame”) at 6:30 p.m. (the play is in German).
Admission to the Students’ Day is free of charge with the sole exception of the theatre performance, for which a ticket must be purchased. The ticket price is 7 euros; tickets can be purchased on location or directly from the theatre group.
If you have questions about the event, please contact the AStA Team.
We’re looking forward to celebrating with you.
