The submission period begins on 26 April 2024 and ends on 10 May 2024 at 16:00. Each nomination requires a certain number of supporters. A nomination for the election of representatives to the Senate and of representatives to the Student Parliament must be signed personally by at least ten, whereas a nomination for the election of representatives to the Faculty Council must be signed personally by at least five supporters; all supporters must be eligible to vote in their respective group (sec 8[4] no 1 Bavarian election regulation for state universities [WahlSa]). Candidates can sign a nomination themselves. When supporting a nomination for election as representative to the Faculty Council, please note that you can only support a nomination at a faculty where you exercise your membership rights. Students studying at several faculties usually decide at the time of enrolment in which of their faculties they wish to exercise their membership rights. However, you are free to change your faculty affiliation in the electoral register before it is closed by submitting a Determination of Faculty Affiliation Form to the Elections Office – Room N12 117, Nikolastrasse 12, 94032 Passau – (or by sending the completed and signed application to the official address wahlamt@uni-passau.de). Your current faculty affiliation is indicated in your certificate of enrolment, which you can view on the University's Campus Portal.
