PhD student Franziska Jäckel participated in the second Summer School in Experimental and Behavioral Economics, organized by the European Economic Review. The event took place at Luiss University (Department of Economics and Finance) in Rome from June 3 to June 6, 2025. The first three days featured lectures by leading researchers on current topics in the field – Colin Camerer (California Institute of Technology), Vincent Crawford (Oxford University and University of California), Michalis Drouvelis (University of Birmingham), Catherine Eckel (Texas A&M University) - followed by a workshop on the final day.
As part of the program, Franziska presented a poster on her ongoing research project – a behavioral study involving smallholder farmers in Ghana’s tropical fruit sector: The role of social networks, trust and cooperation in innovation adoption: Evidence from farmer groups in Ghana. She received valuable feedback from both the lecturers and fellow participants, contributing to the further development of her work.
