During your studies abroad
Documents to be submitted
As soon as you have started your studies abroad, you should sign your learning agreement in the target country no later than five weeks after arrival and have it sent to a faculty representative. The International Office of the University of Passau will then sign the completed document. If there are any changes in the courses taken, these must be entered in the learning agreement.
A few days before the end of your stay abroad, your residence confirmation must be signed by the International Office at the partner university. This must then be handed in as an original document at the International Office of the University of Passau upon arrival.
If you wish to extend your stay abroad by another semester or wish to end it early for certain reasons, please contact the International Office (Franziska Hanisch) to discuss further steps.
To extend your studies abroad for another semester, you have to request this at least 6 weeks before the the official end of your semester abroad. Sample letter for requesting an extension
