Networking and exchange was the focus of the TEFE event at Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland), which was attended by a total of 32 students and 15 university teachers from different European universities: Jagiellonian University, South Bohemian University of České Budějovice (Czech Republic), Comenius University (Slovakia), Navarra State University (Spain), Aston University (United Kingdom) and the University of Passau.
The intensive study programme (ISP3) offered training courses, workshops and panel discussions for students on the main topics of internationalisation of English-teacher education, development of professional competences and promotion of international collaborations through the use of digital media. ISP3 also offered participants the opportunity to observe English lessons. As was the case in previous ISPs in the Czech Republic, Germany and Spain, the TEFE students and lecturers had the opportunity to sit in on lessons at primary and secondary schools in Krakow.
At the subsequent conference on 24 and 25 April, attended by around 200 guests from universities and schools in Poland and abroad, the project results were shared with the community of language teachers and students and a panel discussion was held on the prospects for the internationalisation of English-teacher education.
