Founded 40 years ago, the Passau University Orchestra is the University's symphonic orchestra. It consists of about 80 members: students of all faculties, members of the university and musicians from the Passau area. At the end of each semester, the Passau University Orchestra performs a wide variety of symphonic works. The Passau University Orchestra is managed by students and carried by a non-profit association.
