With more than 100 student clubs, the University of Passau has plenty of opportunities for you to get involved. Whether you like music, politics, languages, or creative writing – there is a club for everyone. Usually, there is a student societies fair in front of the refectory at the start of the semester. There's also a playlist of introduction videos of the different student clubs to get to know them from home.
On Wednesday 21 October, from 1 pm to 4 pm, the student societies of the University of Passau will be presenting themselves on the square in front of the Refectory. Take this opportunity to find out first-hand about the wide range of extracurricular opportunities available at the University, speak to the societies in person and discover where you would like to get involved beyond your studies.
In the event of bad weather, the event will take place a week later, on 28 October, again from 1 pm to 4 pm on the square in front of the Refectory.
With roughly 40 recreational sports classes and groups at the Sports Centre - from aikido via climbing and rowing to yoga - our students have plenty of leisure and exercise options to choose from.
More information about cultural venues and groups is available at the Culture office of the Student Services Association.
