Panel debate: Gender relations in a changing environment
The Welcome Centre of the University of Passau cordially invites you to a panel debate on gender relations in a changing environment at 6 p.m. on 24 November 2022 in room SR 002 in the ITZ Building (Innstrasse 43). The panel debate will take place in hybrid format.
During the panel debate, which is organised jointly by the Welcome Centre, PiCAiS and the Graduate Centre, you can expect an interactive dialogue between professors, international postdoctoral researchers and doctoral candidates, who will focus on different aspects of the topic ranging from feminist political ecology, climate change and environmental issues to agriculture and activism. The event thus presents an opportunity to highlight the relationship between gender aspects on the one hand and the challenges posed by a changing environment on the other.
Host:

Panellists:
Professor Martina Padmanabhan, who has held the University’s Chair of Critical Development Studies since 2013. Her research interests are comparative development studies, gender studies, institutional analysis, socio-ecological research, trans- and interdisciplinarity
