Digital Methods Training at the Methodikum
The Methodikum is not only a space for collaborative research—it is also a platform for methodological training and qualification in the humanities. We offer a wide range of teaching and learning formats that introduce students and researchers to digital methods, tools, and workflows used in contemporary humanities research.
Our training activities span all academic levels—from introductory courses for undergraduates to advanced, research-driven seminars for graduate students and doctoral researchers.
We support the development of digital skills in the following areas:
Exploratory text analysis and corpus research
Annotation and semantic data modeling
Data management and FAIR principles
Visualization and interpretation of structured data
Historical source digitization and AI-assisted analysis
