Psychosocial counselling
Psychosocial counselling covers all issues that lead to people losing their psychosocial balance. This also includes the effects triggered by difficult life situations, psychological stress or social problems. The focus of the counselling or attention is systematically on what has proven successful in the past and what is currently working well. Psychosocial counselling combines psychological and systemic approaches and is available to employees and students.
Topics covered by psychosocial counselling
- Support for members of the University whose relatives are dealing with depression, anxiety disorders, addiction, trauma or other mental illnesses
- Crisis intervention and suicide prevention
