Overlap of the start of the semester with the Easter holidays: Childcare places

In the summer semester 2025, Orientation Week (from 14 to 17 April) and the start of lectures (on 23 April) will coincide with the Easter holidays (14 to 25 April).

In signing the "Familie in der Hochschule" charter, the University of Passau has committed itself to a family-friendly profile. If you have no other childcare options for your children, the Executive Support Unit for Diversity and Gender Equality will be providing short-term childcare directly on campus. Daniela Leirich will be the education professional responsible for looking after the children.

Just to let you know, Stadtjugendring Passau [German content] is offering a holiday programme for children aged 7 through 13.
