Leitung
Dr. Venus ist die Leiterin der Forschungsgruppe "Bioeconomy Economics". Ihre Forschung liegt in den Bereichen Ökologische Ökonomie, Agrarökonomie und Entwicklungsökonomie mit Schwerpunkt auf Umweltbewertung, Wertschöpfungskettensteuerung, öffentlicher Akzeptanz und Finanzierung neuer Technologien sowie Auswirkungsabschätzung.
Sie hat ihren Doktor (Dr. rer. pol) in Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Technischen Universität München, Deutschland, erlangt. Nach Abschluss ihres Promotionsstudiums war sie als Postdoktorandin an der Technischen Universität München tätig (2022-2023). Im März 2023 übernahm sie die Position als Leiterin der Forschungsgruppe "Bioökonomie Economics" an der Universität Passau.
