In the context of the partnership between BioDIVA and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) Research Fellow Monish Jose visited the Indian office of IFPRI in New Delhi in order to jointly develop a working paper.
Prof. Dr. P.S. Geethakutty, scientist at the Centre for Gender Studies in Agriculture and Farm Entrepreneurship (CGSAFED), Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), India, was invited by the Institute of Environmental Planning of Leibniz University Hannover.
She participated in the research topic “Gender mainstreaming in biodiversity conservation and policies” and she conducted the lecture "Gender Perspectives in Rural Development with Equity and Sustainability-The Case of Agriculture in Kerala, India" in cooperation with the research initiative Gender Arch Land.
On invitation of her second PhD supervisor, Prof. Dr. Janet Momsen, Research Fellow Isabelle Kunze visited the "International Gender Studies Centre" of Oxford University, UK, where she worked on data analysis.
