The University of Passau has recently launched its careersUP careers portal as a digital interface between employers and students. Registration and use are free of charge. CareersUP replaces the previous Stellenanzeiger and Stellenbörse jobs boards.

CareersUP is intended for students and alumni of the University, but also for companies looking to recruit:
Whether you are looking for an internship, a part-time job or a career entry-level position, you've come to the right place. The new careersUP portal is a professional careers platform that holds a wealth of information about potential employers and, of course, up-to-date vacancies posted regionally, Germany-wide, and (to a much greater extent than before) across the whole of Europe.
CareersUP offers you a wide range of support services to help you get that first job and advance your career.
Logging in is simple – visit uni-passau.jobteaser.com and enter your ZIM username and password.
As soon as you complete your studies at the University of Passau, your ZIM ID loses its validity. However, here's a little trick you that allows you to continue using your profile in careersUP. Do the following before you are de-registered from the University:
1) Enter a private e-mail address in your careersUP profile, overwriting the official one from the University.
2) Log out.
3) Follow the 'Alumni' link: uni-passau.jobteaser.com/en/users/sign_in
4) Click on "Forgot your password?" and enter your new e-mail address.
5) Open your private mailbox and create a password using the link.
You can then log in at any time with the new e-mail address and your new password using the 'Alumni' link.
Alternatively, as a University of Passau graduate, you can also create a completely new account in careersUP. For details and the registration link, see below under 'for alumni'. This, however, means you will lose your student profile and associated settings.
Advertise your vacancies, present your company or advertise careers events – for free!
There are two ways for recruiters to use your platform: Present your company with an extensive profile and publish all kinds of vacancy announcements. Alternatively, create a recruiter account which you can use to advertise jobs as they arise.
All you need to do is create an account with your company's e-mail address. We're here to help if you need any assistance.
Why not create a company profile on our careers platform? This allows you to make your company stand out by embedding video clips and pictures in addition to posting job advertisements. Furthermore, you can introduce specific areas in your company where you are looking for staff. This will enable our students to find out more about you. A company profile allows you to take full advantage of the functionality of our platform.
Alternatively, you can create a so-called recruiter account. This allows you to advertise vacancies or internships, but nothing else. This type of account does not enable you to keep a permanent profile on our system. This account is particularly suitable for you if you intend to advertise jobs only once in a while.
Post a vacancy/job ad without creating a profile
You are also welcome to advertise and register your own career events in our careersUP portal. This option is only open to those with a company profile. In addition, we offer you the opportunity to hold career events on campus. For details, please get in touch with us.
Even if you have completed your studies at the University of Passau, careersUP offers you the opportunity to look for your next professional challenge.
