careersUP – criteria for posting job vacancies
As the owner of a company profile or recruiter account, please note the following criteria for posting and publishing your job advertisements on our careersUP careers portal:
- No ads for paid placement services: We will not publish advertisements for employment search services requiring payment from students (e.g. for internships abroad).
- No agency ads: We will not publish advertisements from companies acting on behalf of a third party. The jobs must be offered by the advertisers themselves.
- No company advertising: We would like to point out that our careers portal is not a general advertising platform. Non-vacancy-related advertising for companies, especially for their services and products, will be rejected or deleted from the portal. The portal is a service provided by the University of Passau to facilitate contact between employers and students.
- Correct classification: Please make sure that your job advertisements are correctly classified – for example, is it really an internship or is the job description closer to a part-time job? The portal offers a range of selection options for job descriptions, from which you should choose the most appropriate one. We reserve the right to modify the ads when necessary.
- Temporary and part-time jobs: Purely temporary and part-time jobs must be declared as such.
If these criteria are not met, we reserve the right to delete job advertisements or profiles.
