PATEC FoundHers creates a confidential safe space for women in academia and research who are interested in innovation and entrepreneurship. The focus is on open exchange, peer networking, and fresh perspectives on entrepreneurship and innovation.
FoundHers offers a place to share experiences, build connections, and find orientation around programs, networks, and funding opportunities in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. At the same time, it opens up space to develop new ideas, build a support system, and meet potential co-founders.
The format is aimed at women who are already pursuing concrete ideas or projects, as well as those who are simply curious and interested in entrepreneurship—whether you already have specific ideas or are just exploring your interest, everyone is warmly welcome! It creates a space for open exchange without performance or expectation pressure.
For women studying, working in research, pursuing a doctorate, or doing a postdoc who find entrepreneurship exciting, whether you are just starting out or have already taken first steps. All that matters is an openness to new perspectives, honest exchange, and trying things out.
FoundHers takes place approximately every two months during the semester, with each session lasting no more than 60 minutes. To help us plan, we kindly ask you to register via stud.IP.
FoundHers comes in two formats: "Unfiltered" for open group exchange, and "Her Turn" featuring an inspiring speaker followed by discussion.
Unfiltered offers a moderated safe space for open, honest exchange, no filter, no hierarchy, no pitch pressure. A prompt or keyword sets the direction, the rest emerges from the group. Topics include:
At Her Turn, a woman who knows entrepreneurship from her own experience takes the floor. She speaks openly about decisions, setbacks, and moments of clarity. Expect insights into topics like:
