Honours Degree

The Honours Degree in Entrepreneurship offers students from all faculties and at any stage of their Bachelor’s or Master’s programs the unique opportunity to learn how to develop and validate a business idea in an interdisciplinary and practice-oriented environment. The program focuses on digitalization, interculturality, and sustainability, and combines academic expertise with hands-on entrepreneurial practice, effectively preparing future founders to address real-world challenges.

The program can be combined with your regular curriculum and is credited as a block seminar worth 10 ECTS. Students will be given the opportunity to attend seminars, workshops, and additional events, including the Entrepreneurship Day and a final pitch event in front of an expert panel. Participants are guided through the development of a business model and prototype(s) by an experienced team of academic staff from chairs of all faculties, external practitioners, and entrepreneurial alumni of the university.

Interested students should have an initial idea or thematic focus in mind, which they will outline in a short written concept paper as part of the application process. Ideally, participants should already have a team; however, individual applicants can form or join teams later during the Focus Days.

Application: submit a 2–5 page concept paper on the required task
Application Period: April 1st, 2026
Program Duration: April 16th – November 17th, 2026
