Diversity Day 2020
Nationwide day of activities on 26 May 2020
The current crisis presents society with challenges previously unheard of.
What we need now is cohesion. What helps is diversity.
In order to raise awareness of diversity, the University of Passau is putting on various activities for the Germany-wide Diversity Day on 26 May 2020.
What does diversity mean to me? Why do we need diversity – and what else do we need to change? Voices, faces and perspectives on the Germany-wide Diversity Day on 26 May 2020.
Creative Competition
Celebrate Diversity
As part of Diversity Day 2020, the Department for Diversity and Equality organised the Celebrate Diversity creative competition together with Vice President Prof. Hansen.
Entrants could submit photos, videos, drawings, poems or other creative contributions on the topic of diversity.
The focus was on the questions: How diverse are we? How do we deal with diversity on campus, especially in times of coronavirus? And how much does our diversity help us to overcome the crisis? All members of the University of Passau were able to take part in the competition.
You can find the entries here.
Marketplace of Diversity
The Marketplace of Diversity provided information on exciting research projects, university groups and university organisations that promote diversity on campus.
