Business Model
The Business Model Start-up Hub supports and advises (future) founders on issues related to ideation, value creation and value capture.
Everything starts with a good idea!
Founders often put a lot of creativity, energy and resources into the development of new, innovative ideas. That's why we are happy to support you with a variety of methods and individual advice in the (further) development of ideas, their testing on the market and the setting up of the appropriate business model as part of the Ideation Days and other workshops/events.
Value Creation
Ultimately, the success of these ideas depends on the value you create for customers. Therefore, it is important to understand who your customers actually are and what needs they may have. During this step, we support you with comprehensive advice and training opportunities on the topics of market research, creation and quantification of a value proposition and market segmentation.
Value Capture
In order to be able to survive in the market in the long term, however, it is not enough to only create value, because the costs for growth and maintaining existing structures need to be covered. The value you create also needs to be converted into cash flows (= value capture). Hence, the ability to develop innovative business models is the key success, especially for start-ups. We are looking forward to support you with comprehensive advice and training opportunities that cover the following questions:
- Which sales and communication channels should I choose to enhance the interaction with my customers?
- What do I need to consider when designing my sales process?
- Which revenue model is suitable for my business idea?
- How do I draw up a financial plan that will help me to attract investors or long-term partners for my start-up?
The Business Model Start-up Hub consits of the Chair of Business Administration with focus on Organisation, Technology Management and Entrepreneurship, the Chair of Marketing and Innovation, the Chair of Marketing and Services and the Chair of Business Administration with focus on Strategic Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
