Interculturality Start-up Hub
Due to the increasing internationalisation and globalisation of the world, intercultural issues may also be of great importance at every stage of the business concept. As companies often operate in intercultural teams and in an intercultural global business context, engagement with and understanding of cultural differences are nowadays requirements for successful entrepreneurship. Exploiting the creative and synergistic potential of intercultural interactions can provide the company with the key competitive advantage as well as inspiration in this regard.
The Intercultural Start-up Hub consists of the Chair of Intercultural Communication and supports those seeking to start a business through coaching, qualification offers and the corresponding community around the topics of culture and interculturality.

– Inspiring Life Stories and Founding Journeys –
9th May 2022, from 6.30 – 8.00 pm
We are very happy to invite you to the launch of our Entrepreneurial Community between Bavaria and Quebec. The event is hosted by the Chair of Intercultural Communication and the Interculturality Start-up Hub of PATEC (Passau the Entrepreneurial Campus) in cooperation
with the School of Management of the Université du Québec à Montréal. The aim is to build a joint entrepreneurial and research community between Bavaria and Quebec.
Place: Online, powered by Atypic Labs
Language: English
Registration: www.eventbrite.de/e/310367957917
Once again, this year's event will feature an exciting and comprehensive programme. In addition to launching our joint community, we have invited several founders to speak about their life stories and founding journeys: What motivated them to found, what hurdles did they
have to overcome, how did they come up with their ideas, what intercultural challenges did they face and how did they solve them?
The goal of this long-term community is to connect entrepreneurs from Bavaria and Québec, exchange ideas, and create a unique intercultural community. We believe this is an extremely relevant endeavor given the deep economic partnership and political and economic interest
of both regions.
The event is going to be a very dynamic virtual event, hosted by the interactive Agora software. So please come prepared to engage, connect and discuss with each other!
We are looking forward to your virtual attendance!
