Day of Teaching on 30 June
The Vice President for Studies, Teaching, Ethics and Quality Assurance, Professor Bettina Noltenius, cordially invites all members of the University to this year’s Day of Teaching on 30 June 2025, from 13:00 to 19:00, at the IT Centre (Innstr. 43) – a day of stimulating insights and opportunities for exchange on quality university teaching in the digital age.
To kick off the event, Paul Dölle from the University of Bayreuth’s Center for University Teaching will speak on Transformation der Hochschulprüfungen im KI-Zeitalter: Chancen und Perspektiven für kompetenzorientierte Leistungsnachweise (Changing university examinations in the age of AI: Opportunities and perspectives for competency-based assessments). From 15:00 onwards, you will be able to choose from a wide range of hands-on workshops and guided tours. The day will wrap up with a panel discussion on the theme: Rethinking good teaching – Interdisciplinary views on current challenges. Please note that this event will be held in German.
