Mental Health Night for students and staff: Stronger together for mental health

Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by all the issues and demands that come at you from the outside world? Does it feel more like “mind full” than mindful? Rest assured you're not alone. And you can do something about it!

| Reading time: 1 min.

We warmly invite you to the Mental Health Night for students on 25 June from 18:30 to 21:30 in the Audimax Building (foyer, lecture theatre 9 and seminar room 101). University staff members are also very welcome to attend.

There you will meet mental-health experts, others facing similar struggles, and a range of support services from the University – such as official support units, student mental-health societies and self-help groups.
Our aim is to give you an overview of the support available to you at the University of Passau – and to help you overcome any initial reservations. Our approach is low-threshold and at eye level.

Here’s what awaits you on Mental Health Night:

  • Information stands in the Audimax Building foyer (from 18:30 to 21:30)
  • Short talks about mental health, every half hour from 19:00 to 21:00, with short breaks between talks, in lecture theatre 9
  • Closing meditation (from 21:00 to 21:30) in lecture theatre 9

The programme for Mental Health Night [German content] is available on the website. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the organiser, Kyan Krenn: krennk@team.kuwi.de

The event is a collaboration between KuWi netzwerk and the Mental Health Working Group at the University of Passau, with the support of Vice President Bettina Noltenius.
