Dragon boats are long, open paddle boats that originally came from China and were rediscovered as sports boats in the 1970s. They owe their name to their shape, which is supposed to represent a stylized Chinese dragon with a decorative dragon head at the bow and a dragon tail at the stern.
We would like to invite the students and staff of the University to take part in the University of Passau Dragon Boat Cup 2024.
A team consists of a maximum of 17 people - 16 paddlers and 1 drummer. Steersmen are provided by the sports center.
In addition to the races, there will again be a great supporting program with refreshments and a costume contest for the participating teams. Alternative date: 12.06.2024
Due to the flood situation the dragen boat cup is cancelled.
