Mastering your Master’s Thesis: A Practical Guide to Finding Literature

This course equips Master’s students with essential strategies and practical tools for successfully planning and conducting their thesis research. Participants will learn how to use the Passau Search Portal, identify relevant databases and resources, and design efficient search strategies. In addition, the course addresses effective time management for the research and writing process, as well as the responsible and ethical use of AI tools in academic work. Through a combination of theoretical input and practical examples, students will gain the skills to independently locate, evaluate, and organize scholarly literature for their thesis projects.
