iStudi Coach

Welcome to the Advice Service for International Degree-Seeking Students

We're delighted to have you here!

Studying in a new country often comes with many questions. That’s exactly why the iStudi-Coach exists – wer are your central point of contact for all non-academic matters.

We support you with practical questions concerning:

  • Residence permit and immigration matters
  • Getting settled on campus and organising your studies
  • Everyday life in Passau and dealing with bureaucracy
  • Making social connections
  • Accommodation, finances, and part-time jobs
  • Personal challenges

Sometimes we provide direct answers; sometimes we refer you to the relevant services. Very often, we also show you how to help yourself effectively.

To answer as many of your questions as possible, the iStudi-Coach works in close cooperation with the International Office, Future: Careers and Competencies, Academic Advice Service, and a wide network of partners outside the University.

If you have questions or would like to arrange an appointment, please contact us by email: istudicoach@uni-passau.de
We strive to respond as quickly as possible.

Service for applications to the Immigration Office
We regularly offer a pre-check service for applications to the Immigration Office. As part of this service, you can also ask individual questions regarding immigration and residence matters.
All current information on the process is available on Stud.IP
