The Ombudsperson is an experienced academic who acts as independent, neutral point of contact and consultant for specific topics. All members of the university can contact her or him regarding matters of good research practice or its violation (academic misconduct). On request, the Ombudsperson acts as mediator. In instances where concrete suspicions are raised, the ombudsperson can involve the standing committee for the investigation of allegations of academic misconduct.
