If you want to study AI, computer science or mathematics, the University of Passau offers a number of English language degree programmes. What sets us apart:
Prepare for a future-proof tech career with a degree in AI.
As a student on the B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence programme, you’ll learn how to model complex problems, process data, and use AI-based solutions such as machine learning, deep learning, neural networks and large language models, to name just a few.
To the programme
Mathematics is both art and science; it is language, precision and beauty. It is also of fundamental importance to nearly all academic disciplines and an indispensable prerequisite for the development of almost any modern technology you could think of.
The B.Sc. Mathematics teaches you a wide range of fundamental structures and methods, enabling you to maximise your choices after you graduate.
To the programme
The brand new M.Sc. Artificial Intelligence Engineering covers scientific theories, algorithms and methods for designing and developing AI-based systems. As a research-oriented programme, it also considers interdisciplinary perspectives: the widespread use of AI-based systems raises not only technical but also legal, ethical, social and economic questions.
To the programme
Those graduating with an M.Sc. Computer Science are able to define, autonomously and comprehensively, computer science problems and their applications, structure them and build abstract models. Moreover, the programme conveys the relevant knowledge to define and implement state-of-the-art solutions.
To the programme
The M.Sc. Mathematics allows students to gain advanced knowledge in cryptography, computer algebra, algorithmic algebra and geometry, image and signals processing, statistics and stochastic simulation, dynamical systems and control theory as well as expert knowledge in computer science fields such as data management, machine learning and data mining.
To the programme
Information Systems specialists combine technical know-how with business acumen. The Master’s programme offers a major in Artificial Intelligence and Data-Driven Business and a major in Information Systems Management. You can choose which of the two majors you want to focus on - or you may even decide to complete both!
