Meet ZIMI – the IT support chatbot for students and staff

A dedicated AI-supported chatbot – ZIMI – was developed as part of the ZIM’s ongoing digitalisation drive for its IT support services. As of now, staff and students with a ZIM ID can conveniently submit their IT support enquiries using the new IT support chat, which is available 24/7.

ZIMI provides digital support in German and English on a wide range of IT topics and refers specifically to further information and sources at the University of Passau. Based on a large local knowledge base and in a multitude of steps, the answer is optimised for you – please be patient, as this can take a few seconds. If your issue still cannot be fully resolved, you are given the option of submitting a ticket to the ZIM support team directly from the chat.
