Ever since the war started in Ukraine, the university has been networking to bring together support for people affected by the war, especially for refugee students and researchers. We are delighted by the enormous willingness to help and the high level of volunteer commitment shown by our university community and our networks. Thanks to them, a special fundraiser event can now be held: The "Passau for Ukraine" group will be hosting a picnic concert on the Innwiese lawn on Friday, 1 July, from 1 to 6 pm to which you are cordially invited. The programme was put together by artists with a connection to Ukraine. Concert-goers are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. You will have an opportunity to donate to the Ukraine Emergency Fund of the association Neuburger Gesprächskreis at the concert venue. Proceeds will be used to support the work of the "Herzensangelegenheiten – Passau hilft" project. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Gmoa, in the courtyard of Nikolakloster.
