The workshop will teach you simple, easy-to-learn and, above all, effective techniques that will help you gain (some) control over a physically or psychologically violent situation and assert yourself. In this, your own safety is always the top priority. The following will be covered:
- Tactics for deescalating violent situations
 - Techniques for parrying or warding off punches
 - Liberation techniques to break various types of holds using reasonable force
 - Distance behaviour and types of movements in a standing position
 - Questions about specific situations are welcome
