Sustainability Weeks have started
The Sustainability student society, in cooperation with the University Executive and other student societies, is organising the Sustainability Weeks at the University of Passau until 27 June. A colourful programme with lectures, workshops and activities is planned. The student garden will be presented for the first time. Reminder: invitation to the Sustainability Roundtable on 20 June
To make sustainability and climate protection more visible on campus, the Sustainability Hub invites people to join in and take action. To this end, we are setting up the Sustainability Roundtable as a regular networking format for the entire university community, specifically including students and academic support staff – to exchange information and ideas on the current state of activities and initiatives on campus. Please log into Stud.IP and search for Stud.IP code RTN for further details and the agenda for the first meeting, which will be held in the IT Centre Building (Innstrasse 43) from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on 20 June 2023. Reminder: Sustainability Day on 22 June
The University Executive invites you to take part in the Sustainability Day in lecture theatre 10 (Audimax Building) at 6:15 p.m. on 22 June. In addition to the presentation of the sustainability awards in the categories Sustainability Action on Campus and Research with Sustainability Relevance, renowned molecular biologist and environmentalist, Christine von Weizsäcker, will give the keynote speech. The Earth Choir, consisting of 400 children from Passau's primary schools, will provide the musical programme for the day.
