Demokratien weltweit stehen vor tiefgreifenden Veränderungen. Vom 5. bis 7. Oktober 2026 findet an der Universität Passau (Wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Fakultät, Innstr. 27) der Zweite Internationale Kongress für Politische Theorie statt. Unter dem Titel „Backsliding, Resilience, Renewal? Democracy in Eras of Transformation“ widmet sich die Veranstaltung den hochaktuellen Fragen rund um demokratischen Rückschritt, gesellschaftliche Resilienz und Wege zur Erneuerung. In mehreren Podiumsdiskussionen und zwei hochkarätigen Keynotes haben Sie die Gelegenheit, tiefe Einblicke in die aktuelle Forschung zu gewinnen und sich zu vernetzen. 2nd International Congress for Political Theory
Democracies worldwide are facing profound transformations. From 5 to 7 October 2026, the University of Passau (Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, Innstr. 27) will host the second International Congress for Political Theory. Under the title "Backsliding, Resilience, Renewal? Democracy in Eras of Transformation", the event will address highly relevant questions surrounding democratic backsliding, societal resilience and pathways to renewal.
Featuring multiple panel discussions and two prominent keynotes, the congress offers an excellent opportunity to gain deep insights into current research and to network.
